dance: is this love?

earlier last month, i saw this old couple concept dance video via my friend rhea on facebook, and it was inspiration at first sight. i showed it to kim and he said we can definitely try the choreography. i was not that confident about my dance skills now as i was during my younger years but i know i have a very good dancer boyfriend/husband so i agreed. it became our little project, squeezing a few hours after work to study and practice the routine whenever we can.

it took us a total of about eight hours before i finally had a bit of confidence to film our routine for sharing to the public, haha. still, this wasn’t our best performance and you can tell i was so conscious about the camera, haha. but i figured this would be a good souvenir as we filmed it at our rooftop during sunset on the afternoon before my 30th birthday. kim said we would film this routine every 10 years until we are too old to do it–just like in the original concept of this choreography by keone and mariel.

i want to love you, and treat you right / i want to love you, every day and every night / we’ll be together, with a roof right over our heads / we’ll share the shelter, of my single bed…

is this love, is this love, is this love, is this love that i’m feelin’?..

i… i’m willing and able / so i throw my cards on your table…

i want to love you / i want to love and treat, love and treat you, love and treat, love and treat you right… <3
